Currently wearing a pink sports loop with my watch and previously had a rose gold 6s, what of it.

Are you wearing a matching color skirt?

:D

I think it’s actually more attractive when guys have ‘girly’ coloured phones, shows they don’t care what others think ;)

That's how I justify wearing my wife's pink undies ...

No just another overpriced piece of plastic...

Holy smokes, so I know Yeti products are a "thing", but I had no idea about the cost, I picked up a 24oz tumbler in a hardware store, $35 ... the __small__ cooler, like an 8-10 can was $129 ...

WTH, came home hit up a couple of outdoor product review sites, basically all the named branded stuff is 99% as effective, and many "no name" brands. Ordered a 24oz Bubba tumbler, brushed stainless, nice lid, Amazon $9.95 (no tax, free shop, 5% back ...), can sit in a 100+ degree car for 6 hours and still have ice.

:)

Had a co-worker say that a white phone case is feminine because a man wouldn’t have a light colored case due to getting dirty at work. There’s so much wrong with that line of thinking that all I could do was not acknowledge his tomfoolery.

I’d advise doing the same with your wife. If YOU like it, go for it.

edit: and no, it isn’t feminine. It’s green ffs. Money is green. Weed is green. Green is awesome.
I must be extremely feminine then. Most of my phone cases are white or clear. Oh no... just realized my avatar is very white also. I'm screwed.

Thousands of marriages were ruined in the few years that the iPod only came in white as any straight guy wanting the groundbreaking music player ran the risk of catching gay despite fierce spousal resistance. True fact. Thank god Apple invented black plastic in the mid-2000s. Disaster averted.

Ha! I remember the same discussion about the white 4s: it was feminine, it wasn’t professional in a business setting, blah, blah, blah. Then the Rose Gold came out, and the debate was increased tenfold (most people seemed to be ok with white for men at that point).

I’ve had black, Space Gray, white, and Rose Gold iPhones (my wife did say, “you got a pink iPhone? :) ). Other than that one comment from my wife, no one ever said anything, and I don’t expect that anyone thought very much about it. My wife quickly adapted to me carrying a “pink” iPhone. Heck, my male boss had a lime green 5c for years, and while a number of people told him that they thought it looked a bit like a child’s toy, no one questioned his sexuality.

I’m kind of surprised that the Midnight Green would raise such a question: it has a very military or hunter look to me. In fact, “Hunter Green” is what popped into my mind when I saw it: kinda woodsy, earthy looking.

Every year there’s one (or more!) topic with the same question. Is white/gold/green/yellow too feminine for a man?
I laugh so hard every time, laugh so I don’t cry... :D:(

Get the purple iPhone w/ a clear case and a green case. Switch cases when the mood suits. Problem solved. Life is good.

The Joker likes this idea.

Ah yes, every year we see the same topics regarding the color of an iPhone an it’s relation to sexuality.

I don’t think anything will top the Great Sexuality Crisis of ‘15 though. Anyone remember the “Is ‘Rose Gold’ Pink or Copper” threads?

Outside of black/white, the green is the only color that really appeals to me on the regular 11. It’s different and colorful.

This is a serious question. I want to get the green iPhone 11, show it to my wife and she said is kinda “feminine” for a man. What you guys think?

It's really hard to treat this as a serious question, but since you asked: no, I think she's crazy. It appears to be a very dark, muted green. I would say it's very "masculine," if colors can have gender-related labels. BTW, why are we worrying about sex and color in 2019???

Get whatever color YOU desire!

Hell, my VP of IT had a white iPhone for the longest, initially I thought it was odd, but it grew on me after a while.

Also, I was told gold was a feminine color (iPhone Xs), but I love it!! Kinda regret switching it for midnight green ... but that may change once I see it in person.

Is this some US thing where you need a beard and drive a truck to be considered a man? Never heard the "color X is for women" argument in Europe.

Get whatever color you want. Whether it is the green 11, or midnight green 11 pro. Who cares what others think? If you’re that concerned about what your wife thinks of you for wanting a green phone, then perhaps you two have some things to chat about.

Your question makes me question your sexuality, not the color of the phone you get. Only joking. Seriously, who cares? Get what you like. I have a straight male friend who has a Rose Gold iPhone 8+. It's not a big deal. Society is so silly with it's gender identifiers. Wear what you want, buy what you want...who cares?

Your wife sounds ignorant. Dump her

Haha. I kind of agree with this statement, tho. Very ignorant.

What? No. Get what you like the most. Green is awesome, Purple aswell. The only color i refuse to get as a male is the rose gold or the iPhone 8 Gold color which is Rose Gold. But i loved my old 5s and 6s in the regular gold.

But that's up to you. Just because men tend to get Black / Space Gray and Women Silver / Gold, that doesn't mean that they are gender specific. Get what you like the most.

OP is taking a lot of heat, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with his question.

Would most people say pink is considered a feminine color? E.g babies and blue for boys and pink for girls.

Everyone is acting all high and mighty and questioning him being comfortable with his sexuality. I think it would be silly to ignore the obvious. I also would bet serious money on more women buying that green than men. It’s a legit question and has nothing to do with sexuality.

Things can be viewed as feminine or manly and mean nothing more than just that.

I have a few different wedding bands. One is rose gold. It is definitely more feminine, but it’s also my favorite.
