Seems like that’s the only option at this point. I don’t have a direct backup like Time Machine but I’ve saved a good bit of my data manually. Will just be a pain in the ass downloading all my programs and trying to figure out what I did lose

I know that some here do not use Time Machine at all, but use one of the established backup utilities, such as Carbon Copy Cloner, or SuperDuper!
And, now you know why a solution that gives you a clone of your drive, will have real advantages over a simple save of your data, such as much faster recovery when "things" happen
