i have an X thats worth a $200 trade in. I want the Pro 256gb. If i get the 24 month option its $37.45 a month. but if i do the Verizon special program its just under $10 a month for 30 months. how does this add up? so for an additional 6 months the payment is like $28 dollars less a month? im confused

Pay no attention to the clowns…

It appears that for me as least… Verizon is giving me $800 in the form of bill credits for the course of 30 months if I trade in my 11 Pro Max 256 GB

So after everything is said and done give or take sales tax and up fee if any… $13.30 a month for 30 months which is perfect for me… Don’t plane to upgrade for at least 2-3 years or when AppleCare expires

Hi so i actually work for Verizon so let me help!

I can't speak to what apple is doing through their website but if you buy it through Verizon:

If you're on the following unlimited plans:

Play More, Do More, Get More, Above and Beyond:

Then your iPhone X is worth $1,000 off the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. Or $800 off iPhone 13. In other words, you're not gonna get MORE than what the phone is worth.

SO the 13 Pro 256 you want for $1099 will be only $99 or $4.16/month for 24 months. Technically you're not supposed to know about the $1,000 promotion so i'd suggest doing it though Verizonwireless.com

Really? Seems too good to be true that you could choose to trade in the same phone for either the 13 Pro OR the 13 for no cost if doing the 128GB version. Why would anyone choose the non-Pro if this were the case?

What Apple is offering for Verizon trade-in seems more likely - $800 (which means a free non-Pro 13) and then you pay the difference for a Pro if you want it

CORRECTION: I just triple checked our promo page and they changed the promotion last minute today so I didn't realize this but your iPhone X is a "Mid-tier" trade in so its worth $800 NOT $1,000 So the 13 Pro 256 would be $299 / 24 months = $12.50/month or 30 months is $10/month. So sorry the iPhone X is almost always a high-tier trade for us but this year is different.

Got it. What do you show as the value of an 11? And an 11 Pro?

When I try to go through the prepare to upgrade process it doesn’t let me click the final button. I’m trying to trade my X for a 13 ProMax. I’m sure that I’m selecting all of the options.

What am I doing wrong?

On start unlimited, iPhone X is worth $300 off 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max.

But it would still be cheaper to step up to Play or Do for only $10/month more.

Example: for the 13 Pro Max
$300 off would be $900 or $37.50/month

$800 off would be $400 or $16.66/month plus $10 line increase.

So $26.66/month or $37.50. Cheaper to step up your plan to Play or Do. Plus you’ll get Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for free for 2 years on Play More.

When I go through the Apple site that kicks me to Verizon is shows the net price of $10 (and change)

sorry i’ve never used Apple’s site to order the phone. always through My Verizon app on phone or VerizonWireless.com
Hi Bp, I have a 6s I want to trade in for 13 Pro Max 256…what would be the trade in value for it? I’m currently on Get More unlimited plan. Apple.com shows I’ll get $600 in bill credits if I choose Verizon device installment plan but only $30 if trade it in through apple?!?! $600 in bill credit sounds too good to be true lol. Is this correct or am I misunderstanding something?

ok thanks, what are the upgrades options, say in 12 months, ? thinking of just doing the 24 months for $2.50 more a month.

6S is low tier so that would be $400 off iPhone 13 models with GetMore Unlimited.

You can always early upgrade with verizon after 12 months by sending the phone back to verizon for them to pay off the remaining 12 months you owe on the phone. But you wouldn’t be able to take advantage of any trade in promotions since youre sending it back to pay off the remaining balance.

Here's the catch with these promos: if you upgrade before the 24 or 30 months is up, you lose all the remaining credit.

So, you might get $800 off your 13, but if you want to pay off the phone before the full term, you'll lose the rest of the credits. I was going to do it, but I was only shown $700 off a 30 month term, and Apple was going to give me $500 for my 11 Pro Max directly. No losing those credits if I pay early.

Is there really a $1,000 promo for the 11 Pro Max, though? That's kinda nutty. Might be worth being locked in for such a crazy price...

By the way, I was easily able to do the Verizon promotion via Apple. First select Apple trade. The number will be the smaller Apple number at first. Then when you select Verizon monthly for payment, the trade number will go up to match the numbers in this thread. And the trade will be handled by Apple.
