I'm looking to buy a Mac Mini from someone local, and they're claiming it's a

1.83GHz Core2Duo
4GB RAM
250GB Harddrive

As far as I can see, the only 1.83GHz Core2Duo comes with 1GB of RAM (Caps at 2)

And an 80GB Harddrive.

So a 1.83ghz Mac Mini can't even be upgraded to 4gb, so he's either wrong on the specs or wrong on the Processor.

Here's the photo he sent me.

Any way to know what model this is?

That is a mid-2007 model, MacMini2,1. Even by looking at the back, with only a DVI port, it's obviously a 2006-2007.

Yep, sure is.
I don't think this guy knows what he has.

He also claimed it had an HDMI Port, which I confronted him about right away and he claims he meant he will provide a DVI to HDMI adapter.

Anyone know how much these generally run anyway?
I'm guessing around 350?

This is correct. I have the same model. I actually just upgraded the RAM this weekend.

The "About This Mac" screen now shows 4gb of ram, but as others have said, I'm told it only uses about 3gb worth.

I bought mine a year ago next week for $300 with the older style Apple bluetooth keyboard and the DVI to VGA adapter.
