Original HomePods, Apple TV 4K 2nd generation. Connection between Apple TV and HomePod stereo pair was great until I updated Home (Apple was bugging me to update)… now, nothing.

in Apple TV settings > Audio and Video > Audio Output, ‘Default Audio Output’ is set to ‘TV Speakers’. Under ‘Temporary Audio Output’ I can see the ‘Lounge’ pairing of ATV and HomePods, but I can’t select it: the tick mark highlights for a second, then turns off. Restarted ATV, still the same. Does this Home update mean that my HomePods are now bricked..? So frustrating…

ETA: I’ve just looked in the Home app, and neither HomePod is listed under Lounge (where I’d expect see them).

Fully reset the HomePods and add them again.
I’ve done that several times, now… I do see the stereo HomePod pair under Settings > ‘Audio and Video’ > “Default Audio Output”, but it just says ‘Setting Up’ and it never gets any further… even after 24 hours…
