Can thunderbolt iMac(mid-2011) used as target display mode with 5k iMac

I am going to get a new 5k iMac.

Currently my setup is mid 2011 27 iMac with a 24 Monitor. My iMac works as target display mode perfectly fine with my macbook pro.

I was wondering if I could use the mid 2011 iMac as secondary display with my 5k iMac using the same TDM?

It should work just fine. Just keep in mind that you will notice how much worse the 2011 is next to the 5K.
