Fanboyism is not needed to explain things.

Ios = its more secure but the closed nature limits certain functionality.

Android = it is open but fragmentation and poor support for phones leaves much to be desired.

I preferto just stick with facts.

Sucks for them? Sounds like it could be the start of fanboy talk ;)

Why try and convince some one X phone is superior? Not all of us are in Jr. High and feel the need to have what others have (or try and convince them to get what you have). If some one asks you a question as to why you prefer the iPhone give them the reasons..... does doing this make you a fan boy? I say time to grow up if the answer was yes.

So I want to know if you can defend iOS/iPhones without sounding like a fanboy. That means you need to have facts to back up all your statements, and give legitimate reasons as to why iOS and or iPhones are better than Windows Phone, or Android, or BlackBerry ect...
for the most part thats not really possible

I think you can defend iOS without being a fanboy, but people will like what they like. People like different things.

No. If you're defending your hardware in the first place you are being a fanboy.

The iPhone does everything I want and need in a stable environment. I could accomplish the same functions on Android. At the end of the day I'm not really doing anything different either way.
