Can you no longer forward multiple messages in iOS 7?

Wait now it's working for other people I have open convos w, just not this one friend, strange. When I try to forward a message to one of my contacts who I already have a conversation going with it doesn't bring his name up when I start to type it in.

That's odd, it should basically bring up any name from your contacts (and perhaps even recent senders/recipients in general).
