I will give you my experience from the Iphone8 launch with Eaton Centre pickup. My phone stayed in processing status right until the phone arrived at store. I had a 6pm pick up time scheduled, I happened to end up with the day off, so I went in the morning to try and get it earlier. Low and behold no phone. They actually get another shipment mid day, I think I got the email around 2-3pm that it was now ready for pickup. If you have a morning appointment I imagine you will get notification after the store closes for business tonight.

Are you worried about UPS delivering?? I've had so many issues with deliveries!

Looks like our phones were on the same shipment as I just got the same notifications.

I just moved to Downtown Toronto near the intersection of Harbour and Yonge streets - does anyone have any ideas about when I can expect UPS to deliver from Concorde? morning or afternoon?

LOL We all need to go for lunch or something!
I did the in-store pickup because I work close to the Eaton Centre, but as a backup, I also have a Best Buy Pre-Order!

I wouldn't be too worried. I did get my Apple TV 4K delivered successfully on the launch day!

the other is still stuck on 'order processed' on UPS.
coincidentally, the one that's lagging was the first order i placed...silver 64gb.

I live by King and Spadina (hi!) and I haven't had an issue with UPS. I think it depends on whether or not your building has concierge.

EDIT: Delivery times for me have varied. I've received a MacBook early morning (8am), a MacBook Pro mid-afternoon (4:30), and an iPad around mid-day. Seems to change based on the day, and I'm assume the new King St. project will change it further.

Yeah, but the Harbour Plaza is a new tower, and we did experience issues at the beginning, even with a concierge!
But not anymore (at least for me)

We should just all go to Starbucks to meet and play with our new toys

Heh, well, no lineup outside the Waterloo Apple store yet. (but the rain might be helping)
There were a bunch of staff just standing around, so went and chatted with one of them. They expect it to be about the same as the 8 launch...they had hardly any people line up. Heh. Hope she's right!!! *evil laugh*

Heh. I had ordered the 64GB space grey, but now I'm being tempted to get the 256....it's like an additional $237 (getting AC+ as I'm gonna rock the phone naked). Heh....the price seems so ridiculous already....it's like, what's an extra $240 in the grander scheme of things?

Which one are you going to? I'm considering doing the same.

Yorkdale line may be ridiculous - if it's anything like the 6. I wonder if going to smaller cities or stores will provide a better chance, or if they will have minimal stock.
