That does happen on occasion but it feels like we have gone too long without one.

I know during these launches you get a few people receiving phones and such without getting updates so I am holding on to that small glimmer of hope.

Monday would be a real pain so I will probably end up having to pick it up Tuesday.

I mean, I only ordered on Wednesday so I am still getting it a lot faster than I had planned.
 
I saw in another thread someone had their tracking update after the ready for UPS status with items timestamped before the pickup time. So this gives a little hope, but given its after 8 am and nothing I'm pretty sure it won't happen.

Haha that's the exact same thing that happened to me. Just a few weeks before pre-order, I got a new credit card, and hadn't memorized the new 3 digit security code. Had to run over and grab my wallet to get it. Enough time to have only ordered by 3:04am.

Oh well, hopefully there'll be some movement today and it'll arrive on Monday.

We've seen it in here as well. I still think it's a little too late though.
 
Just got an update that it was released from customs at 5:50am this morning.

In Transit is in red with no delivery date.

It could make a UPS afternoon delivery I supposed but chances are it's coming Monday.

We're on the same skid. It needs to make it to Concord. It may already be there.

There is still the potential for afternoon delivery.
 
Mine is out for delivery by end of day today which usually means 5pm or later here. I'm sitting at a desk by the front window so the delivery guy can't put a "you weren't home" notice on my door and run back to his truck before I can catch him. :)

Same deal here just updated to red text In transit.
The e-mail from Apple yesterday with the tracking number listed Monday vs today as the delivery date, fingers crossed that it shows up today but at least we know the wait is almost over either way.
 
Unfortunately, judging by some of the tracking I have seen here, the transition from Burlington customs to Concord can take several hours.

UPS may only pick up from them in the late afternoon evening.
 
I'm on the same 5:50am customs stop as you guys. My tracking number didn't updated until 9am this morning after receiving it at 5pm last night. Apple email said Monday for delivery, UPS doesn't know yet.

The delivery standard for UPS Express Saver is next day; and seeing as they were received last night, I think there's still a chance for afternoon delivery.

Plus there's obviously a huge backlog on tracking.... Keep us updated with any changes.

UPS Express Saver is next day if picked up before 6pm EST. These packages haven't even been picked up from Burlington Customs yet. I don't think the creation of a tracking number counts.

Edit: Scratch that. They were received into UPS possession at around 8:31 on the 23rd. That would be AM yesterday. I am not entirely sure how that works as I wasn't even charged for the phone until later in the day.

Maybe there is hope.

Is Burlington a UPS facility?

I'm not sure the specifics of it all either - I've got received my UPS possession at 8:16p and 8:31p last night. If deliveries can be completed between 9-7pm, we might make it. It also says that a shipment can remain as 'IN TRANSIT' until it is actually delivered.

8:16 and 8:31 should actually be AM and not PM. UPS uses military time so those would be in the morning. What that means is they have been holding product at their warehouse and it's being allocated to the end user from there by Apple.

Morning fellow nerds! My watch made the jump into and out of Calgary successfully last night on CJT471 and should be in Lethbridge now. Purolator takes over from there (sketchy, I know) but I'm as good as "out for delivery." Fingers crossed for you second round customs-clearers and red-texters.

Was yours showing "In Transit" this morning then update again / when did you get the ship notification?
