i haven’t seen any remaining here canada

maybe in more remote places.

point being, canada has long been ahead of the us when it comes to payment systems, making many of the selling points people have mentioned here about an apple credit card more or less moot

especially when you can already use apple pay anywhere with whatever cards you already have
What about the app? Apple Card app is more simple and easy to use than most banking apps. With most bank apps, you need to go through hoops to login.

Take Tangerine in Canada for example. You have to set 3 secret quest and answers to which those answers for most users will be static and can be easily guessed. Then you have to put in your pin on top of that. It's a lot of hassle.

With Apple, your account is secured via a 6 digit 2 factor code that is randomized every 30 seconds. On top of that, you can view statements, manage your credit card all by using your thumb or a a glance at your phone.

It intelligently categorizes items to provide insights and helps you manage your payments via a beautiful UI that most banks can't replicate.

my canadian credit card app logs in with face id, allows me to view statements and manage my card, has a well designed ui and catergorizes items just like you described

I think perhaps everywhere in the world that is not the United States is the most civilized place in the world. On the other hand, Brexit. (Sorry, that was kicking between the legs.)
I was more referring to the fact you can pay contactless everywhere and don’t need to hand over your card, Brexit is indeed a **** show.
