CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

Last time I did a line-up for the iphone (Iphone 6 plus) I got there at 3am and there was maybe 75 people ahead of me. I didn't get any chance at the 6plus. I could have gotten a 6 though. I opted against that at the time....

Moral of the story is I think you'll need to line-up the day before, not at 6am to even have a chance. Keep in mind also that every person ahead of you is able to purchase up to 2 devices. They go pretty fast. I'm also assuming they will have some available for walk-in's. They may very well not at all.

im not sure if android has an application but if you do have a computer you can go to apple.ca and then on the day of release it'll say under the iPhone if pick up is available for it

Right i agree with your statement, i just wish i had more time on my hands haha, guess il be waiting for me pre order then cause I'm certain the people who get it on that day will resell for bit more than retail which is not worth it in my opinion
 
Any movement for you guys? UPS MyChoice is telling me that my 128gb Matte Black 7+ was picked up but it's still in China

Delivery date is 9/16 btw

lucky, mine hasn't seen any moment yet but i am a week after your ship date, usually for canada we don't see major updates till wednesday or thursday and you'll just be shown that the phone is in Canada already
 
My iPhone is supposed to deliver this Friday but it's still at preparing for shipment and has yet to appear in my support profile or UPS.

Same for the watch, expect that's still at processing.

Getting a bit nervous now...
 
Is it possible for you, without UPS MyChoice, to see something about your iPhone in the UPS Website in the tracking by reference ?

Tbh everyone, I wouldn't worry too much about your status not changing. Like someone said earlier, last year, tracking info was pretty late in updating for Canadian orders. I've experienced the same. Especially UPS tracking, I've had an iPhone delivered to me and in my hands before it said 'Out for delivery' online.

If you still have Sept. 16 delivery, I'm very confident you will get it that day.
 
Yeah mine shows in Support profile, but still preparing for shipping. Hoping for the best! Delivery 16th. And 7+ 128GB Black

Last year I tracked via Ref on UPS site, with the reference number being my phone number used when checkout (my cell) and country info the rest you don't need but can add postal code.

I'll be trying the same this year.
 
Aha! Found it. Just used phone number only and destination country. Every time before I put in my postal code. Victory! Shows my delivery address too! Woohoo

Lucky you.... I remember it was working for me last year... but it's seems not to be working for me yet with my phone number or order number on the UPS site.... soon maybe... it's ok, Friday is coming soon...
 
Mine just showed up in support profile this morning. Still shows preparing to ship. Hopefully yours shows up soon!

I wouldn't worry too much. Apple is a very well-oiled machine and it's very rare that they don't meet their shipment dates.

True... I wouldn't worry much... I remember last year, Apple sent and changed the order status on Wednesday night or Thursday morning... when shipment was already in Canada. And got my iPhone on launch day, the Friday.

I wish they would send the confirmation tracking number when it does leave China... but Apple changed that last year.
Oh well... can't wait for Friday to be here... and will be a perfect beginning of a 2 weeks vacations... The iPhone 7 plus will be perfect for my upcoming Disney trip and many pics :)

I think it's difficult because they come over here on pallets and then split off to their various areas. I didn't have much luck tracking mine last time (that was for the 6) but I got it right on time :) Hope your phone gets safely in your hands soon!
 
I'm really late to pre-order but I just placed mine this afternoon for in-store pickup at a Calgary Apple Store (says it was available to pick up on the 16th). Ordered a Black 7 128gb and I got an email saying "my order is being processed" and that "we'll notify you when these items are ready".

Having never pre-ordered an iPhone or been near an Apple Store on launch day, does anyone know what I can expect come the 16th? I have a check-in time slot at the store. I take it I have to wait for another email to confirm availability, anyone know if that email will come on the day of the 16th or before? And for pickup, do I simply walk in at my time slot and and expect to walk out in reasonably short order with my 7?
 
Mine has showed up in my support profile, 'Preparing for shipment' at Apple.ca and nothing in UPS as of yet. Shipping to Richmond Hill, ON.
