Where r you?
I'm in Montreal. Got, as expected my shipping co formation from apple. My iPhone is in Louisville and delivery is still tomorrow. Yeah
I'm in Montreal too.

My iPhone is in Louisville.

But if I click on "track shipment" on Apple Website, details said that my estimated delivery is on tomorrow and the status of the shipment is "Shipment In Transit - Delayed".

Also in DTMTL here. I am seeing the same shipping status on the website: "In transit - delayed". Looks like sth happened?

I had slept past the alarm and ordered a Silver 7 Plus at 3:45 EDT. Shows delivery Sep 27-29 (two weeks from now) but card got charged this morning and it changed to Preparing for Shipment.

My in-store pick up order says "Ready for Pickup". It went straight from "Processing Items" to this. Also got a message from the Apple Store iOS app saying my iPhone would be ready tomorrow.

I'm thinking they are not updating ups with our shipments and are keeping everyone in suspense for tomorrow. They are probably all on the way to our locations

I was wondering..... because mine for Downtown Mtl is not Delayed.... when you did put the delivery address, was it a business address ? Mine is.

It's residential :( ironically just 1 block away from the Apple Store

UPS's website shows that it's still in Louisville.

It seems all Canadian launch day deliveries are in Louisville, KY at the moment. I don't think people should worry too much. I remember the same thing happening when I purchased my iPhone 6 for launch day delivery a couple of years ago. It was delivered on time. If you live outside a major city or its suburbs there might be a delay of 1 day.

If it's any consolation- here is what UPS showed me when I had pre-ordered the iPhone 6 two years ago

I said this earlier in the thread but here it is again. Do not worry if your phone is still stuck in Louisville based off of UPS tracking. My iPhone 6 & 6s were both delivered to me and in my hands before the UPS tracking updated to even 'Out for delivery'. For whatever reason, UPS tracking is pretty behind. This might only be for Canadian orders but I've experienced this during the last two iPhone launches.

If your Apple Store order still says delivery for Sept 16, you are 99.98% getting it on that day. Let's remain optimistic people!

So those who had delivery beyond the 16th, did you status change to shipping?

Mine changed from processing to repairing for shipment, yesterday. My delivery date is Sept 28th.

Nothing on UPS for tracking.

my delivery date is the same and i also changed to prepare for shipping
I say we get them a week from the shipping date.. but who knows what apple has planned, maybe they were able to make more flow faster. And UPS, on a normal day they have a crap load of things to deliver.. im sure they have more people on call and stuff setup with apple. Personally I have no idea why the date goes from the 16th to the 28th, it doesnt make much sense unless china and usa are on holiday during that time. Other then that im sure shipments are travelling 24/7 including weekends, i know china doesnt take off sat and sun.. some dont even have a day off.
More or less, ill be honest id be a little disappointed to have to wait another 2 weeks when it says preping for shipping and my card was charged.

I am however keeping an eye on my support profile as i have a feeling that would be the first thing updated followed by where that iphone is headed (UPS Tracking)

Here is a timeline from the iPhone 7+ 27-29 September thread posted by AppleFan91:

Sept. 9 - Preorder
Sept. 10 - Charge on Card
Sept. 12 - iPhone 7 in Support Profile
Sept. 13 - Charge fell off/Found Tracking # in UPS by Phone Numbers
Sept. 14 - Charge made to card
Sept. 15 - Phone departing Louisville to me.
Sept. 16 - Delivery

It seems that support will will be 2 days after the charge on card.

Awesome thank you for that feedback I'm going to keep my eye over there too, just hoping we get them soon haha

Everything is probably being sorted and getting ready to hop on their respective flights. Hoping for the best!

Nice. Congrats. I'm waiting on mine. It still says processing, but seeing yours go straight to Ready for Pickup makes me happy. I'll just relax and wait

I was just going to post a question about pre-orders for in-store pick up. Nice to see some already getting the confirmation.

Mine still says processing, and I have a check-in window at the Apple Store tomorrow. I'm just wondering if I don't get the ready for pickup email, should I still make my way to the Apple Store tomorrow for my check-in window?

That's what I plan on doing. Just walk in like it's ready for pick-up and see what they say.

I think I might do the same thing. For what it's worth, my credit card has already been charged the full amount for the phone.
