CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

If I am remembering this right, there were 2 separate lines on launch days. One for walk ins and the other for people with reservations. I would assume that they'd let people going in for pickup wait in a faster line.

And with there being no launch day availability (for walk ins) it should be even easier for those of you who have pick up reservation. Hopefully less chaotic than usual.

Yeah the Apple Store rep I spoke with said the same. 2 lines; one for order pickup and another for walk-ins. Hopefully it'll be painless to walk in and out tomorrow.

Does Apple put a hold on your credit card when you do an in-store pickup or is it an actual charge? I asked an Apple Store employee today and he said he's not sure if I'd have to pay again when I pick the phone up. Apple definitely took the funds somehow since my available funds on my CC is reduced. But I'm worried that I'd have to pay again in store and I won't have the funds available since Apple took a hold of it.

The full amount of the phone still shows as a pending charge on my credit card. It's been pending since the 12th. It's not unusual for pending chargers to take even a week to post.

So your question is a good one, I'm not sure if will need to pay again tomorrow and then have the original pending charge gone, or whether the original pending charge simply posts when we pick up the phone.

My guess is that when we pick up the order tomorrow we won't have to pay, it's as though we're picking up an order that's already paid for. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
 
For all those who have iPhones that arrived in Louisville, KY at around 1:30am today, they may not actually be in Louisville. I called UPS because I haven't had any movement since then. Unfortunately a lot of them missed the flight out of Alaska, but the paperwork made it to Louisville. So even though UPS tracking says your phone arrived in KY, there's a good chance it's still in Anchorage departing on UPS 109 in about four hours
 
Mine have been sitting in Louisville for the past 2 days. Havnt seen any movement as of yet.

I am in Mississauga, Ontario. Sept 16th delivery. Two Black 128gb Iphone 7 pluses

That's my guess as well. I went on the order page and tried to click "Print all Invoices" for my order and this message popped up:

I guess this means that we'll be billed once we receive the "ready for pickup" notification.

I'm with you both. Like I said...they're likely still in Anchorage. Only the paperwork has made it to Louisville

I am downtown T.O. Apple says Sept16th delivery

My theory:

They already departed in the AM today via flight UPS488 (5:00 AM departure and YYZ arrival 6:06AM) and are sitting at Customs / UPS warehouses; and the system has not been updated...

OR

The phones will make this journey (via the same route) tomorrow.

There are no other UPS flights b/w these two cities.

With no results...
What i read between lines is that telus won't have any iphone 7+ available on launch days.
They offer me a free Bluetooth speaker for the delay.

why doing pre order at 3:00 am if you won't have any device available?

Getting scared, I'm supposed to have a 16 sep delivery it ups is showing that it's still in Louisville KY....and I live in Montreal...if apple says Friday 16, then I'm getting it on the 16 right????????!!?!???

Every iPhone for Canada are in Louisville.
