CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

I upgrade every year, and this time I had decided to go with the Plus model (coming from a 6S and a 6 before that) because of the extra battery life, extra screen space, and better camera. I was super excited for my 7+ and if I had been able to get one for launch day, I'd be totally happy with it. But given that my ship date ended up being over a month after I ordered it, it gave me time to think. I realized that I'd get the things I was looking for (more battery, more screen space, and a better camera with OIS) with a 6S Plus.

Here in Ontario, my 128GB 7+ with AppleCare+ would have been $1523.24 (CAD) after taxes. A used 128GB 6S Plus with a year left of AppleCare+ is about half that. Sure, the 7 Plus is better. But as far as I can tell, the only noticeable improvement is the camera. Is a slightly better camera and stereo speakers worth twice the money? For some people, maybe. For me, it wasn't. I could use the difference to buy a new Apple Watch and a set of AirPods and still have a bit left over.

Anyway I didn't mean to sidetrack the thread, my initial intention was just to point out that if Apple had made enough iPhones to meet demand, they'd have my money right now and I wouldn't be thinking twice about it. As it stands, their delays cost them a sale.

I'm really feeling the same way. Especially with people who ordered after me already receiving their orders before mine even ships. I think I'm sticking with my 6s Plus as well.
 
Last Friday my 7 had a departure scan from Kentucky at 447 am. It's now past 515 am and no departure scan there yet.
[doublepost=1474365525][/doublepost]Ok we just had the departure scan from Kentucky posted, it is 557 am and the departure scan occurred at 504am. Our iPhones are on their way to Mississauga now. Still showing delivery today.

My IP7+ black 256gb shipped this morning. 5am. In Zhengzhou, hoping it's here by Wednesday/Thursday morning! Fingers crossed!!!!
 
ups474 to montreal has been circling around the airport, along with some fedex planes for the last 30 minutes :(

No not the worst. I waited all day Friday only to get my watch delivered on Monday.

My delivery time is 9am to 12:30pm today. Let's hope it makes it in this window. :)

Get myups it gives me a window from 245-645 as well if I'm not home I told them to leave it on at my front door. Super convenient and it's free

I was one who made the flight and arrived at Concord 08:36.

Funny thing is I am tracking it, but won't get it until September 29 anyway. And only need it by September 28 to get to me lol.

Yeah! And now it is said to be delayed due to severe weather:

  • 09/20/2016 8:35 A.M.
  • Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day.
