CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

Do we think there's any chance these show up today? I mean, they haven't moved from SK in forever, something is clearly up .. secretly hoping they just fell off the UPS tracking system. It's happened before.
Doesn't seem like there is any flight from Anchorage to Ontario until tonight....

Im assuming they fell off the tracking system but for some reason I got another scan in Incheon saying it was shipped again. Others had no updates until it was out for delivery the day of. Like I said, Im ready for Monday.

Ive seen some peoples packages show up randomly by the end of the day but with the delays we experienced and the timing of the flights plus all the other processes it has to go through once it reaches Ontario, I don't think they will be able to deliver today. Fingers crossed !
I just called UPS and the CSR said it's stuck in customs waiting to be cleared. Said no chance today. However she did not seem that confident in her words.
Might want to give UPS a call and see what they tell you.
I'm so sick of this. What a colossal f*ck up this preorder has been.
She said it was but honestly she didn't seem all that confident.
The more and more I think about this mess the more I'm tempted to stick with my 6s Plus. It's really annoying me that it's taken this long. I ordered 5 minutes in to the preorder and it's going to end up taking an extra 2.5 weeks to get here.
Also mines getting shipped to my office so no chance for Saturday delivery.
Super disappointed.

Shipments from China to Toronto on UPS usually go Inchoeon > Anchorage > Louisville > Toronto. There's a ~7 am flight it normally gets on at Pearson, but no idea if it got on that plane. If not it'll be Monday.
Sidenote: The UPS guy that normally comes to my office at 2pm leaves the depot at 10am. Since there's no Out For Delivery message, there's a pretty slim chance it's coming today. I'll update if he comes phoneless today.
I know they've been doing afternoon deliveries as well.
But if I'm betting I'm going with 90% Monday, 10% today. Would be a nice weekend surprise to see it show up this afternoon.

Update, stuck in customs. Pretty much zero chance today. Lame! Oh well, Monday.
LOL... just got the EXACT SAME UPDATE.
However it doesn't tell me the location. Might be in Canada. If so then it might come today still. Happened to me before. If it's in Alaska then no dice for today.
I'm actually going to raise my odds to 80% Monday, 20% today.

FYI What this message means is that out of all the phones on that shipment someone has requested their own private company to clear their item. Meaning the whole shipment gets delayed. If you search on this forum you'll see this happened on launch day as well.
This is the same message I got on launch day for my Black Plus 128 also. I ordered that after I ordered my Jet Black (once I saw the shipping was for Oct 6). I got my phone on launch day.

haha, I like the optimism. I'm less optimistic because the time stamp is 10 minutes into the future from now.
Take a look from page 45. Identical scenario happened. I'm liking our chances.
I understand your frustrations, but this preorder can't be a "colossal f*ck up" because technically, they will still deliver your phone to you on time. I mean, I'm jealous that other people have received their phones when they are in the same delivery date (Oct. 5 - Oct. 12), but since they have given me that time frame, I have expected a delivery to occur around this time frame.
All in all, I could have gotten one sooner had I had enough funds on my CC and/or be more active on the reserve and pick up site at 8AM, but it is what it is. I've missed some JB Pluses in my city because I was preoccupied with something else at 8AM, but I'm glad mine will be here next week - be it on Monday, Wednesday what have you.
Absolutely it's a f*ck up. I ordered well before many, many, many people who already have their phones and have had them for a week. On top of that local stores also got shipments of the same device I ordered well before I received mine. They did a terrible job this preorder.
Argh, delivery date updated to Tuesday now. I wonder if it's a customs issue?
I would never believe UPS if it's a customs issue thing. They do the customs work well before the shipment arrives at its destination. According to that site with all the UPS flights, it just left Incheon to Ankorage at 8AM this morning for me.
Finally shows it left Korea.... 1:42am local time.
