Wow what a disappointment
Just had mine shipped out yesterday. What was your initial est shipping time according to UPS once it was originally shipped?

UPS says Oct 3 for me but if people before us are delayed mine will likely be delayed as well I guess...

It shipped Wednesday early morning and said it was coming Friday by the end of the day, my original estimate is Oct 5th so nothing I can complain about but just got my hopes up! :( Does ups delivery on Saturday ?

Yeah they have been doing Saturday deliveries to catch up.
 
My status just updated to change in delivery and it's being redirected to an access point ? Which is a hasty nearby to me. On my account I had it set up to attempt delivery first
 
So I found an iPhone 7 and have it reserved but the question is, I'm currently with one provider and want to switch. Can they do this in store?
 
Just got a confirmation that the iPhone departed from Incheon, Korea with estimated arrival time Monday afternoon.
Smeh, I will forget about it over the weekend and begin a happy week with iPhone on Monday.

You mean port over to another provider? Absolutely. They can do anything a carrier can do.

OTOH, just found some 256GB iPhone 7 Plus in my city. Guess I'm off to pick some up tonight :) My delivery can go back to where it came from.
 
No it wasn't delivered they were just updating the directions on the package to include the option of dropping it to a nearby access point, UPS said once the package is in their possession then they can give an updated delivery date
 
I finally received shipping notice from Rogers tonight at 8:30 pm for my new iPhone 7 plus. It will be delivered Monday. Yeah. I have two Spigen cases and a Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector waiting for it.

I was given yet a new ETA by Rogers today, saying October 15th for the 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black. :(
 
I ordered through Rogers on preorder day and I have zero information other than charging my credit card immediately, and a taxes invoice the following week. This is killing me.

Thanks for sharing this...at least I'm not alone. Thoroughly unimpressed and disappointed with my decision to become a new Rogers customer. Nothing like prepaying in full, having the tax balance as money owed for a product that's unavailable and also an actual billing cycle demanding payment. There has been no one capable of providing a reservation queue / reservation number of any sort. The customer service outcomes were laughably hopeless. I'm so tempted to cancel my order before I'm married to this company for 2 years. The online chat support was embarrassingly useless.

I ordered a Matt Black 32 GB iPhone 7 Plus. In the time it took to get the phone I was regretting not getting the 128 GB version but I only stream music and listen to podcasts and audiobooks so I should be good. This is a new personal account with Rogers. I live in Quebec and am a Desjardins customer so I get a descent deal. $72/month for Unlimited Provincial Calling, unlimited SMS and MMS, and 7 GB of Data. The Desjardins discount gets me an additional 10% off and 1 additional GB of data per month, and Unlimited North America Calling, SMS, and MMS. That brings my monthly invoice to $64.80. As a Rogers Customer I also get free NHL Centre Ice ($179 value), plus Spotify for 6-months.

I agree with all of this. The communication with this company is non existent. My Billing Cycle started September 30, Phone arrives October 3. The first monthly invoice says I also have a $20 Connection Fee, which is also supposed to be waived according to the Rogers web page. Luckily my very first email from Rogers does show that the Connection Fee is reduced to $0 so I will get that waived, and I will insist that my billing cycle does not start until I get the phone and activate it. I thought I was done with this billing garbage when I left Bell two-years ago and switched to Videotron. In the two years with Videotron, I only called them once - and that was to try to order an iPhone 7 Plus (and they would not budge on the price or monthly plan so I paid to unlock my iPhone 5s and am now with Rogers).

I am hoping once I get all this sorted everything works out, but right now Rogers is not impressing me - but money talks and I think I have a fair price on a personal account without any nice corporate discounts.
 
Anyone have any experience with GetConnected.ca? I have an iPhone 7+ 128g on order with them but they told me it would be end of September, now they're telling me 3 more weeks? I'd go to someone else but the deal is too good to pass up since it's a corporate plan. (7g data, unlimited Canada Wide calling for $82.50/month)
 
Just picked up a 256 gb JB 7+ from Surrey Apple Store , was a nice surprise to be able to reserve one yesterday out of the blue !
Anyway I still have my pre order for the same phone due Oct./20 - Nov.-02 If anyone on the sunshine cost or the comox valley interested I am willing to sell it at cost

Thanks for your reply. I also live in Quebec, but I'm on a corporate account (a multinational tech company) and service has been pretty horrible. Unfortunately, I have no other avenues as our account gives me access to the phones at a much cheaper price. Originally when I place my order I was not given any ETAs. No confirmation of being on "back order" either. I contacted our rep twice and was given the different ETAs mentioned above (keeps getting pushed further). Rogers seems to be having some troubles getting phones regardless of the color and model.

I was skimming through the Rogers forum, and a topic discussing the pre-orders shows people #1 and 2 in line since the pre-orders were opene still on the same position...this is sad.

I preordered a 7 Plus 128 GB Jet Black through Rogers at 9 AM EST on 9/9 and was just given that exact date today for my estimated shipping. When I first received confirmation of reservation, I was at position 389 and I've now moved 200 spots in the last 3 weeks so i'm hopeful that I'll receive it in the next 2 or 3. I live in Ontario and used a hardware upgrade so I thankfully was not billed the full cost of the device and won't be until pickup.

I'm really disappointed with the preorders this year. A combination of their lack of communication with customers (other than the generic "we are waiting for stock from Apple") plus being further in the queue for the 6 and still getting it on launch just ruined the whole thing for me.

just checked today.. status changed to PFS! iPhone 7 plus jet black 128gb expected delievery date oct 17-28th.. bought it outright from apple.ca
