Do you know what class action lawsuit are for ? For where a company does small harm/damage to ALL their customers. Apple shouldn't get away with doing this.
It was a bug (a bad bug) and the suit should be dismissed. However, my opinion aside, this suit could litigate for several years and then be appealed. It could be dismissed. Apple might settle. Of course the legal system being what it is, who knows where this will go.

The Slimey ambulance chasing lawyers are going into a feeding frenzy trying to make a buck because they can't hack it as a real lawyer.

And you and I will be the first to jump on the bandwagon when a US law firm launches a class action suit, fanboy.

If people are going after Apple as they are, I can’t see how the other companies aren’t facing daily scrutiny. Yeah it’s a really bad bug but it’s disappointing to see these double-standards.

What planet do you live on, and why don't you have access to the same news sources that pummel those companies daily on their privacy violations?

I’m Canadian and for more info on the Quebec Apple Class Action lawsuit, I personally went to the Quebec (Montreal) Lambert Lawyers website only to find it was entirely in French Canadian. WTF! So seeing as I can’t read French Canadian, I called their office to see if there was a English translation on the site to get clarification, and the male assistant said no, because most of their clients are French speaking. Well there in itself is a reason to be suspect....a separatist website, NICE! I then asked why the class action suit? The assistant said that Mr. Lambert would have to call me back to discuss. To which I replied forget it, it’s just another Quebec scam.

It’s another case of a Quebec ambulance chasing lawyer trying to cash in on a companies honest mistake, for the benefit of a potential big commission and the pr that it potentially would derive. No surprise here, as Quebec has the most corrupt government and with that comes a very morally depraved place to do business in.

In Canada in order to get a financial settlement you need to prove to that you lost money - that is very hard to do.
In Canada if you bring a lawsuit against (small claims does not count) someone and you loose you have to pay the legal fees of the person or company if you loose.

Just like the iPhone batteries lawsuit for not giving users enough info on the health of their batteries, i wonder if/when the bug is pushed out from Apple, weather someone will 'pull-the-plug' and all lawsuits would disappear, or will they all just 'keep going on' (as though they will ignore the 'now current' situation.?)

Imagine that: a business in a French-speaking area, catering to French-speaking clientele, has information in French! Also, what does it matter if the assistant was male or female? No bigotry in this post

FWIW, French Canadian refers to a person whose main language is French, Canadian French is a dialect of the French language
