Well, I hope all goes well for you in getting the 6. I'm sure you'll be happy with it, as it gets excellent reviews and is praised for being a good size.
But I do wonder at the number of people worrying about their small hands. I'm a petite five ft tall woman with very small hands and a size 5 ring finger (was size 4 until I had a baby) and I've handled a Hitachi G1000 with no problem.
Really, it's hard to find adults much smaller than I am. That Hitachi phone was roughly as big as the Plus, but was about as thick as a waffle. It was crazy huge. I used it just fine, albeit two handed most of the time. I even wore it on me pretty much all of the time on a holster, when I wasn't wearing a dress of course. I'm sure I looked awkward as hell, but I didn't FEEL awkward. I loved that phone, it was the first, last and only phone I could thumb-type on without making hideously embarrassing typos. And I liked the generous (for the era) screen real estate. It was just really ungodly heavy and that's why I was willing to switch to a Treo. But I ended up missing that phone.
So I'm looking forward to going back to the large form factor I found ideal at one time, minus the weight. Still, after carrying such pocketable phones for so long, I don't doubt it will be an adjustment going back to a big phone like the Plus. I'll have to change the way I've been used to using and carrying an iPhone.
