I am really interested to see when everyone that is in the same situation will receive the phone finally.
 
Just saw my status update to preparing to shipment, keeping no hopes but seems someone is doing something, I just hope it goes though this time.

Hmm. I am glad to see something is being done to my order. It would be a really good gift to open a new week if for some random magic my phone arrives on Monday haha.

I had this happen to me and had that same delivery range(oct 19-26), and was pretty much resigned to waiting another week or two.

Then about 30 minutes ago I got an email that it has been shipped priority overnight and should arrive tomorrow morning! So there is still hope for those of us who have been hassled by the multiple order glitch. I won't truly believe it until I have the phone in my hands, but things are at least looking up!

I have not been a big fan of apple in general, but if stuff like that happens to me, I might be converted haha ;)

I am crossing my fingers that this one goes through, period. I am more interested in having an order that successfully goes through than when I will be receiving this phone at this point.

Where is yours shipping from? It surely won't be directly from China if something shipped out today will get to you tomorrow morning.

Coming from Nashville TN to Cincinnati OH. My theory is that the very earliest preorders get processed in China, but at some point they cut it off and just send the rest in bulk to various distribution centers around the country/world, and process the rest of the orders from there. I have no information to back it up, thats just my guess based on what I have been seeing from people around the web talking about their shipping status.

I got caught up in the whole computer glitch thing too. Reordered and my new order was to be delivered 21st-28th. My status changed earlier to prepared for shipping. 20 mins ago I got a email saying it was shipped and expected delivery 10/14. :) I am happy as hell. The tracking is working yet though but my fingers are surely crossed. Good luck with you guys orders.
 
Aw you bastards are making me wish I went that route instead of having one reserved in-store.

My fed Ex tracking isn't showing yet but it does show the 14th that's what important. And yes. Apple absolutely rocks. I feel bad for talking crap all week. Well I take it all back Apple. love ya.
 
Finally got my shipping email too, and finally can track it on FedEx too. It definitely is shipped, wow that is great of Apple, they do really care about their customers. Great job by Apple.
 
Update:

Got an email today stating Apple is Fedex overnighting my 4S from Nashville to Dallas with a guaranteed 10AM delivery and tracking confirms this.

Thanks Apple.
