Candle From Twelve South Promises 'New Mac' Scent

That's true, and trademark violations usually come down to whether the product is in the same category or could be misconstrued as being a product from that company. I think Apple could make an argument that people might think this candle was sanctioned or co-developed with Apple. Not that I think they should, but Apple has historically been pretty aggressive about protecting their trademarks.
I'm almost afraid to ask, but... are you serious?
It's weird, because Mac aside I just find the smell to be utterly pleasing and I would not mind at all to get 3M medical tape for that reason, knowing that the other 3M products I've had have been great adhesives to begin with.

This must be the most expensive scented candle I have seen so far. Waste of money.

Basically they filter the smog from the air and end up with a garbage bag full of fine black powder that used to be smog.
So to make these candles, all you have to do is pour the powdered smog into wax and add a wick. Almost magic.

It's a Mac rumor because there haven't been any rumors about actual new Macs in ages, so we have to make do with a candle that smells like a new Mac. This is the closest we're going to get, for the foreseeable future...
I will make it a point to be the first to patent "Scent of a Mac User".
