Cannot figure out Infuse

Been using Plex for years and recently bought the Infuse Pro app - but I cannot figure out how to get this setup? I have an external HDD connected to an older Mac that I use as server for various media including movies, music, photos. Can someone help me get started or point me to guide

FYI already checked the official website but didnt find it all that useful
