Hello.
After a while, I'm back on a Mac and refreshing my skills.

I currently have a Studio running Sequoia and I am having weird issues with sharing a folder in my Mac.

I already followed the Apple instructions here (which by the way, are incorrect) : https://support.apple.com/en-bw/guide/mac-help/mh17131/15.0/mac/15.0

The issue is, when I try to connect to my Mac from an Android device (Pixel 8) using 2 different SMB capable apps, they are getting access denied errors.

Tried switching between SMB versions on those apps, same error.

I then tried from a Linux VM and received the same error.

Tried from a windows PC and again, same error.

It does works on my iPad Pro, but only if I turn on "Allow full access to all users"

As far as I can tell, all the settings are correct on my Mac yet the issue exists.

Any suggestions as to what I am missing?

Edit Tried again from a Windows 11 VM and it worked, but now, nothing else is able to connect, not even the iPad.

Feel free to ignore, it started working after restarting the Mac and enabling Allow full access to all users.
