On my 2016 Mac running Monterey, using Safari v17, For several days now, I can pull up the MacRumors Site, but when trying to access the forums, I either can’t get them to load, or the page appears without any formatting and is not functional. Any ideas?

No issues on my iPad…

I'm not having any problems with Safari 18.5 under Sequoia.

You have any new adblockers or anything running?

If this were widespread, I would expect dozens of posts here about it, and that does not seem to be the case.

MacRumors.com is not effected. This and previous times, it was when I click on the forum link from that page, I run into this.

I'm finding that sometimes, a page now loads correctly, just posted in the game forum, but from that page, when I selected this forum, I got the same issue, no formatting. So I tried duplicating the tab that was open, produced a good page of the gaming forum, and from there, selecting this forum from the list of forums, I was able to get here without it appearing. Sometime when this happens with the bad format, the page takes forever to load and sometime it does not load, or as mentioned sometimes it opens without any formatting... 🤔

This page loads as a page full of text. With a single try, Firefox and Duck Duck Go, did not duplicate this behavior for pages loading without formatting.

One more thing I'll try. Your link loads as a page of text in both Firefox and Duck Duck Go, but is this significant or just the fact it will load or not load?

I've noticed that Firefox is a hell of a lot faster loading up MacRumors than Duck Duck Go. Several years ago, on this MBP, I stopped using Firefox cause it seemed to use up available memory much faster than Safari did so I have regularly used Safari on this platform.. Maybe I should go. back to it and see how it works these days? 🤔
