Hmm, when I fixed this a couple months ago I do not recall any CyanSoft folder at all.

Maybe MacShiny is hidden within another folder? Sorry I don’t have a clear answer, it’s been a while since I fixed it.

Just go through other folders maybe? Or go into the search bar at the top of the window and search it. (Make sure Application Support is highlighted)
I found a way to remove the MacShiny icon from the menu bar, finally. This is what I did, for anyone else who needs it:

  • Download Knock Knock (I downloaded from https://objective-see.com/products/blockblock.html )
  • Click Scan
  • Under the ‘Launch Items’ section you should find ‘TrayAgent’ as one of the listed applications found that launches at start up. (Note, mine was not flagged in red writing, just normal black text)
  • Click on the eye symbol called ‘show’ on the right side of the TrayAgent. It will open the file’s location directly in the MacOS folder
  • Delete the one or two files you find here named TrayAgent and empty trash
  • Open Activity Monitor
  • Highlight TrayAgent
  • Force Quit by clicking on the x in the top left corner of the Activity Monitor
  • The Tray Agent / MacShiny icon is gone from the top menu bar and doesn’t reappear

I then downloaded the application Malwarebytes ( https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/ )
Started this to scan, and it brought up a bunch of residual ‘TrayAgent’ files, which I deleted through Malwarebytes, for good measure.

I had the same problem, and tried System Preferences (Users & Groups)>(Login Items) but didn't find the icon there that I wanted to remove. So I thought to re-install the app itself again to see if it helps out and it worked out. Then I removed the app again from Application folder with no problems.
