Can't use my burner with itunes

When I'm on iTunes I will click the 'Burn Disc' button and it says
'Disc burner or software not found..'

I'm using an LG external DVD burner though firewire.

How can I make iTunes burn ?

How can I make iTunes burn ?

iTunes will try to burn CDs and DVDs on the same drive that it reads from; probably the internal drive. I had to delete the iTunes preferences file after replacing a CD writer with a built-in DVD drive; that might help.
