Don't plan on jailbreaking my Watch anytime soon due to my fear of "breaking" it, but regardless.

Haha thats actually pretty cool.

If there was some sort of "face store" on the watch, casio could make a lot of money selling old school faces for like .99 cents.

i would be shocked if a watch faces store didn't come in the next 6 months - perhaps announced at WWDC?
 
Could be a market for third-party watch faces. I hope Apple opens it up. Since we can use third-party keyboards, this should be allowed too.
 
Anybody who spends a minimum of $350 on an Apple Watch only to make it look like a $10 Casio is an iDiot.

Just my opinion.

There WILL be a market for interesting watch faces, but don't expect many that duplicate actual shipping watches like Rolex, Casio, etc. Why would Casio want to sell a .99 watch face for an apple watch when they really want to sell you a $25 watch? The swiss companies absolutely loathe Apple.

Pebble has watch faces that infringe the copyrights of every company in existence, but don't expect Apple to take that chance. They have a lot more to lose and a history of getting nailed for infringement. Eg. swiss railway clock face

Oh yeah -- I get that. Honestly I'd just be happy with cool "unique" ones from random developers :)

Actually, not. My company has a ban on all smart watches including the Applewatch. If I had this face on it, no one would be the wiser. I think it's a great idea!

Oh, I thought you could already do that? I learn something new everyday. That should be one of the first things they update. Since it's basically like custom wallpaper, and that's on everything nowadays.

Seems like a no-brainer. Something that I assumed was supported lol :eek:

I thought the same until the other day and read where it isn't an option right now which is stupid, it's something that shouldn't even be a thought as to if its going to be allowed or not
 
the iphone in unjailbroken mode is easily recognizable, maybe the people at apple want the same for the watch...if it looks like a casio then its not really advertising the apple watch
