Better to leave the doors unlocked and don't keep anything valuable inside when parked the worst they can do is steal the car but if you get it back in one piece you don't have to worry about replacing a busted window--probably at most the ignition lock. I have never had a car stolen but I am pretty sure I have had a few unwanted "guests" in them without my immediate knowledge because relatively unimportant things would be out of place--like the contents of my glove box laying about. I always keep my important papers like the title and regs on me in a bag or briefcase rather than the glove box so that they don't even have access to the personal info.

Better to leave the doors unlocked .

then you'd get a drunk guy who pissed in the back seat.

Or a couple, who used it as an impromptu love session, and leaves jizz and a used condom on the floor.

the possibilites are endless here .... :D

I hardly ever lock my car. Never been touched in 14 years. I guess I'm lucky.

Yes, I could see that. :p

I've had several "arguments" with my underground parking structure.

Silly building.

I am seriously considering just letting them rust, but KIA still has 10 years to go, to catch up to your Land Rover. ;)

I buy cheap used cars in the first place sometimes the piss smell is an improvement LOL but I have never had anything important stolen.
