Car charger for iphone 6

I just have the apple USB cable and a cigarette lighter jack to USB device. It works well.

It also allows any USB charger so that the older Apple devices can be charged too if needed.

I picked up this dual-port Volmate car charger because it's small (2.3" long), Apple Certified, intelligent port charging, 24W / 4.8A Output (shared by two ports: 2.4A & 2.4A), with a subtle blue LED. Good deal at $8.98 (free ship with Prime).

So far, working good.

Don't overlook prior discussions. The 6 doesn't have significantly different power requirements.

Are you sure. I find that with navigation and audio turned on, my iphone 6 drains slowly with a charger that powered my 5s with no problem. I came here looking for a better option.

My Iphone 6 charges at about 1.3Amps when measured. The supplied OEM wall charger only charges at 1A. So get a 1A charger if you are fine with it charging at 1A. Otherwise get a 2A then you can charge at 1.3A and can also charge your tablets at 2A.

Monster 10W car charger is at Target, outputs 2.1A for a fast iPhone 6 recharge and is very low profile for those of us with hidden compartments and such.

Picked this one up at the apple store last week. Charges my iphone 6 very fast and has a extra usb port for another device. Also comes in cheaper versions.

I purchased the all in one from apple (cord and separate charge adapter). It was not an apple product.......the cord did not fit in my Otterbox Defender charge port opening and the charge adapter was super tight in the outlet. I returned it to Apple. I don't have a car charger at this time which is not an issue for me as I charge the phone every night.

Been using this iLuv 1 AMP charger for years, been pretty safe with my IP5, IP5s and IP6

I was debating on getting a 2.1 AMP just to juice up the speed, but kinda on the fence since I rather want to avoid burning that U2 IC chip on the logic board or damaging the battery.

All devices include Apple Devices only take the power it needs. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus charge at 2.1 amps max. That charger is $13. You could of got a 4.8 amp car charger that has 2 USB ports for less money. Just trying to help.
