I would recommend looking at the Scoshe USBC242M. It's a dual 2.4Amp charger, decently build, and unlike many dual 2.4A charger, it's quite compact. I've been using two of these for a few months already and haven't had any problems/running charging various devices.

I have a techmatte one that is pretty good. simplistic, but pretty good.

It's designed to handle 2.1A, no different than an iPad.

All devices include Apple Devices only take the power it needs. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus charge at 2.1 amps max. That charger is $13. You could of got a 4.8 amp car charger that has 2 USB ports for less money. Just trying to help.
Anker 24W 2-Port Rapid USB Car Charger with PowerIQ™ Techno... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D82O68Y/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_AlJtub0N99R7G

I'll give it a swing one of these days, but most of my drives tends to charge all the iPhones to 95-100% by the time I arrive to my destinations.

The iLuv car charger I got was $4.99 with retail packaging years ago, it safely did it's job and it's to ultra slow profile, have a hard time pulling it out sometimes.

It is a pity tomtom never made a holder charger for the 6 like the one they made for the 4/4s because it was dam handy for both charging and playing your music.
