Car detailing products on macbook?

Has anyone tried using car detailing products to protect the keyboard wear and tear (the shine on the space bar etc.)

Neither of these would provide adequate cleaning or protection on a computer.

TopCoat sells some great products. Started out for vehicles and now some of their products can be used on pretty much all surfaces. I think it would make the Mac looks good but other that that I see no real benefit. Definitely do not spray it directly on the keyboard.
