lol look at the one amazon photo. They put a can in the cup holder and suction cupped it to it.

Speaking of that, I just bought a cup holder mount, and it is working great for me so far:

Good that there are multiple choices to hold you phone - pick the one which works best for you.

It better be good for $90! I find that my universal mount (cup holder) works fine, can be used in any car with cup holders, and cost 1/6 of the above.

/reopen thread :)

Had a proclip for my 4 and liked it a lot, just ordered the new holder with charger for the 5, supposed to ship around the 15th I believe. Good unit, never had a problem with it and the built in charger worked great when using Navigon on it. It is also nice that you can rotate it between portrait and landscape, I would fire up slingplayer now and then when stuck somewhere.

It is a little spendy but worth it; to me anyways. I have it mounted right on the dash by the upper vents so it's easily viewable when using navigation, cup holder mounts don't work that well for that as you have to take your eyes off the road and look down.

Not a fan of the new iPhone mount with the cable attachment coming from the pass through mount for the 4. Contemplating a modification of my old mount with a lightening adapter.

Nikhsub1, do you remember me? Soja from ocforums. I built an inspired ghetto version of your beast cube pc :)

Spiderpodium

The Breffo Spiderpodium is great for this, it fits into the vents on your car.

I use it for GPS navigation all the time
