All 3. Like how Apple maps has the speed limit but only when doing directions or eta to destination. Waze has it always on but my CarPlay doesn’t say when I go above that speed. My car dash has traffic sign recognition tho so all good there.

I like waze telling me of hazards in advance but agree it’s too cartoonish. I wish google would fully integrate waze into its maps with the more professional google maps look.

Apple maps just is more seamless with my other iDevices too.

Just curious for those that have CarPlay in their vehicles, with Google and Waze now supported, along with Apple Maps, what do you use as your main go to navigation and why?
I prefer the Apple Maps navigation. But, I like the Waze alerts. You can run both at the same time! Siri gives the routing instructions and Waze pops up the audio alerts like Police ahead, disabled vehicle ahead. Gives the voice alert and a pop up on the apple maps screen

This! I had both running a few days ago with Apple maps displayed and liked that waze still alerted me. Cool feature for sure

When you're running in this mode, I'm assuming you put a destination into Waze as well as Apple maps. Is that correct? (Otherwise Waze wouldn't be speaking in the background.)

No, I only use the navigation in Apple maps. Waze knows where you are so it can give alerts. If you have them both running nav. then get 2 sets of voice prompts unless you set Waze voice setting to alerts only. Even worse if the apps pick different routes.

I have both Google Maps and Apple Maps, but I prefer Apple Maps. The data has become much better in Apple Maps (not quite as good as Google's though), but the key feature for me is the integration with the rest of the phone (texts, appointments, etc.) All that stuff just shows up in Apple Maps automatically and makes setting up a trip so much easier.

I don't use Waze but people I know who use it like it very much.

Just got a second-hand GLA class Merc. Google Maps has been my go-to nav of choice on my phone and I'm sticking with that for CarPlay too.

I use only Apple maps for the seamless integration with Calendar, Siri, Messages, and Contacts. I have had no problems and would not, under any circumstances, use Google or WAZE due to lack of privacy and tracking. Privacy is top concern when making choices these days, so stick with Apple for the time being.

I’ve started using Waze and never looked back - all the extra info about hazards, police, speed cameras etc is invaluable on a long journey.
