Carnouba wax instead of a case?

LOL!!! The thread title really threw me!! I'm about to wax my car. I swear, i just washed it and i'm about to go back out and wax it. Then i read this title and thought "wait, am i in a car forum."


Edit: 2 hours to wax my VW Beetle. Not a good idea to wax a car when it's close to 90 degrees out. I feel like i've been hit by a bus.

I never understood those things like invisible shield and things. That water solution they make u spray on the sticker doesn't that some times seep into the phone and can cause damage.

True, but that's also why they explicitly tell you to a) turn off your device before applying the shield and b) don't turn it on until 24 hours after you apply the shield (so the water that DID get in can dry up and not mess up the electronics, I guess)

I have applied the shield on almost all my devices, and following those steps works pretty well for me
