Carrying phone in pants pocket

Top down towards my foot, and screen facing my thigh.

I have always carried like this with nothing EVER in my pocket with my phone. And they have all stayed perfect condition without a case.

Funny, I thought I was equally OCD about this but I always go screen away from thigh so any sweat moisture/salt won't seep in around home button. I guess I figured that's a bigger risk than shattering glass through pants. If something hits me that hard I guess I'd just be grateful my iPhone was in the way!

This is the way I do it as well for the same reason haha

I'm left handed so I keep the phone in my front right pocket, top-down, screen away from thigh, unless I have earphones in, then top-up (iphone4, waiting on 5s shipment).

I used to go Screen facing towards the thigh, but I scratched 2 iphone 5 screen on the coin pocket rivet on my jeans.

Anyway, I usually prefer to carry it in my front pocket to avoid sitting on it.

I always carry it in the cargo pocket on the left side with only the earbud case along with it. It's plenty roomy in there.

always screen facing thigh and not in cargo pockets for me. Several years ago, I had my ipod in my cargo pocket with a zipper and hopped up onto a chair = cracked screen.

Don't use a case and I put it in either way. I just make sure there's no keys or change in my pocket and it's fine
