Why do people still think that because some third-party that no one has ever heard of before went out on a limb and made a case for a well-publicized iPod mockup, this is what the iPod will look like? As far as we know, Apple has NEVER released the specs of any upcoming iPod (iPhone excluded due to FCC exposure) to any third-party manufacturer. Especially not some tiny little operation. They clearly wanted to make a name for themselves by announcing cases for the upcoming iPod, and so they took a chance that the mockups and screenshots floating around the net are what the next iPod will look like. If they are right, then they are the FIRST manufacturer with cases available (in what has to be a hypercompetitive business with thin margins), and if they are wrong, then they scrap the few samples they had made up (assuming that they made any to begin with and didn't just photoshop some samples), and go make cases for the real iPod when it's announced and they get the specs like everyone else.
Does anyone really expect Apple (of the iron-clad NDA and rabid legal team) to give out the specs for their hottest product to some rinky-dink case manufacturer?
Person of African lineage, I beseech thee.
