Agreed, the dark grey is the only poly cover I could stand, but yeah I'm digging my setup a lot. On my old 1st gen iPad I had a Yoobao Slim case but always hated that buckle to keep it closed.

I don't really understand how it snaps into place?
How do you remove the Smart Cover if you want to?
I'm so torn between the two.
You may benefit from just using a shield on the back of your iPad plus a sleeve. That's what I've been doing and it works well. I'm using the incase origami workstation and it is awesome. A tight fit when you put it in with a smartcover but the stand it creates is just awesome for typing, browsing, reading and watching movies or reading books.
So I called Incipio again since the "Frost" smart feather came back on the site and am getting that one.
I'll send them the Lexington back when I get the Frost with the pre-paid slip in the box and once they get it I'll get $4.25 (the difference) put back onto my card.
I'll get the Dark Grey Smart Cover for it...my iPad is black so I think that'll look good.
Part of the case goes over the hinge of the smart cover. Look a the pics in my second post.
I was supposed to get notified by them (Incipio) when Frost came in, but thanks to your post I now know it's available. 
So anybody else waiting for a notification from Incipio, there's system isn't up to date, so better to check yourselves once in a while.
Hmmm, you're going to get Dark Gray over the Light Gray. I might do the same. I like Dark Gray better, but the Frost matches the Light Gray. I guess I'll have to wait and see the Frost color in person to decide. I also wanted Translucent Mercury, and was told it SHOULD be available next week, but I am getting tired of waiting for accessories, so I made the move to Frost.

The Mercury isn't available.
I feel like the Light Grey cover will get dirtier.
And Frost should go with anything since it's basically a clear case.
I really looked long and hard at that, but in the end, liking black on black with my black iPad, I bit the bullet and ponied up for the black leather case.
I picked up the Belkin Snap Shield on Tuesday and I've been very happy with it. I decided to get a Smart Cover this morning to complete it. I went with the dark grey SC, I wish it was a little darker, but it goes well with the frost Snap Shield.
I wasn't going to get the SC since I transport my iPad in a Twelve South BookBook, but I wanted something to cover the screen when I carry it on its own. Oh, and I think it looks cool haha.

I have the Lexington now and I'm having them send me a Frost Smart Feather as a replacement. I have a black iPad and I'm wondering how you like the Dark Grey on Frost? Or if Light Grey or Black goes better with the Frost?
I just wanted to give another thumbs up to the Incipio Smart Feather. I too got the frost and totally love it. It fits absolutely perfectly and I especially love how it loops over the smart cover to keep it on.
I think the light grey might match better but I like the slight contrast of the dark. In reality you won't ever really see them together since they are opposite sides of the iPad. I guess it just comes down to personal preference.
I think most of the colors are cool, but the green and light blue don't really suit me.
Does anyone know of any back covers (smart cover compatible of course) which are soft, more gel like?

I purchased this for my New iPad the other day, it doesn't have the clip on or back magnet, but you get more than what you paid for. I have used the same series back protection on my iPad 2 and i really think its great. Its sleek and smooth, i love it.
