Weird. I have the Sheath and the Synthesis and my buttons are fine. My dad has the Sheath too. I can hear clicks easily on both of mine and on his. No problems at all. Maybe we just have different tolerances, but I consider myself fairly picky and I have no issues. Great cases as usual.
It’s definitely a tolerance thing. I didn’t mind the home and volume buttons, but the action button cover feedback is pretty poor. Lots of reviews and people here mention it, and it was like that on 3 cases I tried. If you compare the finewoven button feedback(although that case has its own issues), you’ll definitely see what some people expect from the buttons.
I’m with you. My Synthesis and my Sheath are both great. I’m enjoying the Synthesis more than the Sheath this year, but that’s a personal thing. They’re both flawless to me, buttons including the action button work great, fit is phenomenal and I’m pretty particular too. Sometimes I see comments on here whether it’s about cases or iPhones or iPads and I’m like, “are we even talking about the same thing?”
Haha, don’t get me started on the FineWoven. I’m almost angry that Apple would put something out that bad for $60. I was almost a sucker, but common sense got the better of me after a day.
But, honestly, I’m sitting here pressing the heck out of my Synthesis buttons and they all click fine. Can’t remember what the FineWoven felt like, but the Synthesis buttons feel great to me. Just tried my dad’s Sheath and his felt fine too. I’ve convinced a handful of people IRL over the years to switch to Caudabe and the ones who upgraded this year love what they got. I’d even say this year’s Sheath is the best one so far, and I’ve had used them for years. The fit is noticeably tighter this yeah which to me gives me more confidence when holding my phone.
It looks nice, but I had this combination recently and found the Synthesis was too heavy compared to other cases so I got rid of it. I also found the jagged edges/grips to be pretty uncomfortable when holding the phone.
Seems Caudabe still haven't got a grip of their customer service.
I sent an email about transfer of warranty (as I'd sold a new case to someone else as it was quicker than returning it). They replied within a couple of days but obviously didn't read the email properly as just sent me some generic cut and paste email about their warranty. I sent a reply, and it's been 7 days without a reply from them.
Gotta say, as someone who was a die hard Caudabe fan, this iPhone 15 launch has made me think twice about them - poor service, the lack of action button from the start, the backorders and delays.
It's mid-November and taking a week to reply to an email just isn't right.

I’ve also since returned the Synthesis. For me, I wasn’t satisfied with the buttons (action button in particular) and after a couple days use the side grips became irritating for my palm as well.
Edit: I did keep the black Sheath though. I much prefer it all around; buttons are better, grip is enough, I like the texture, isn’t as much of a pain to take off.
I still think the Sheath is the best overall case this year. I think I’m done with my case adventure!
So far one of the best cases this yr as I have the Sheath in blue. No issues with the bottoms on the side. Nice magnet if I want to add anything. Will be using this most of my days. Like the grip and texture!
It wasn’t like that out of the box, only after using it with my MagSafe charger did it develop.
Does your phone get hot when it’s on the MagSafe? I use mine with MagSafe charging overnight, and with a PopWallet and I don’t have an indent like that. Depending how long you’ve had the case, I’d still send them an email about it & see what they say
It's not unheard of but it's not normal. Caudabe will replace it if you want them to. I've ordered 2 Sheaths and 2 Synthesis so far and none had the MagSafe indentation visible.
Caudabe says it’s normal and linked me to a macrumors article on MagSafe marks. I’m going to try and exchange for the synthesis.
They told me something different. I had a similar issue and they swapped mine out for a new one. They even said this was a known issue on some and that there was a fix for it. Anyway, they sent me out a new one and it’s been great so far. No imprint. You should try asking them again.
Great case still with or without the imprint which wasn’t really a big issue. I didn’t even ask them for a new one and they just offered it so who am I to refuse lol

I agree. The Sheath is like old faithful. I was smitten with the Synthesis for a bit, but went back to the Sheath.
Here are a couple pictures of it now. It’s clearly higher in the center of the MagSafe circle. I tried the synthesis but do not like the slick back. Are you saying if I get a replacement sheath it shouldn’t do this?
I would defintiely request replacement of that, if that's how it looked out of the box.
