Sounds similar to my experience with the JETech. It’s pretty damn close, just not quite 100% when it comes to touch responsiveness. Apple Pencil and Face ID are perfect.

Thanks...I’ll give that a try!

Is the lack of responsiveness during scrolling?

Is the lack of responsiveness during scrolling?
Yes it is. I’ll be scrolling through a news feed or my photo album (for example) and on the odd occasion a scroll will not register at all. If I keep my finger on the screen at the time it doesn’t register I can move it around the entire screen without any response.

Typing is flawless and I haven’t really noticed anything else with regards to single touch.

Have you experienced anything similar?

Yes. Pretty much the same. When scrolling websites, pictures most anything I get an occasional what I am calling a “whiff’. Just no response. Mostly with my thumb but can be index finger as well. No rhyme or reason or can I predict when it might happen. Typing and Apple Pencil no problem at all. So strange

Yep...that’s it! It’s far from regular, but still a little annoying when it happens.

Hopefully the newer release protectors (when they are available) will address this.

Question...did you try your iPad prior to installing the protector? I did briefly and it all seemed fine, but I’m not sure that I tested it to the extent I needed to in order to identify the issue after it was installed.

I used the iPad 2 days before putting the Sparin on it. I too was questioning if the problem was there before the installation of the protector but I don’t think so. Guess I could take it off and see but wanted to wait until the Media Devil I ordered shipped. I suppose if this problem was more widespread we’d be hearing from folks with no screen protector on.

I’ve just ordered the Media Devil protector as well. Fingers crossed.

1/2 happy and 1/2 sad to report that JETech works with Face ID after I put pressure on the camera area to kill the microbubbles until my fingers became numb, the immediately noticed the touch glitches both when scrolling (not quick flickers but slower swipes) and when typing. Heck I entered WiFi password 4 times to finally get it right simply because the tap on the caps lock wouldn't register if I typed too quickly.

I don’t purchase Apple Care for iPads. Only for watches,MacBooks and iMacs. I haven’t took off my defective tempered glass screen protector. Since I’ve discovered the defect. I had bought 2. Put the new one on. I’m using my Apple Pencil for most screen touches. Not good enough for me. Who is going naked? I want to pull my screen protector off but I have small kids who like to touch Daddy’s toys.
I took mine off. If Apple says one isn’t needed then that’s good enough for me. I do miss less fingerprints though.

Matte film does pretty good at masking fingerprints. These new iPPs are for some reason horribly bad at collecting fingerprints.

Dear all, I'm Callum from MediaDevil. I noticed we were getting quite a few mentions here (and I recognise a few long-term customers, many thanks for the support!). I just wanted anyone and everyone to know that I'm happy to help if there are any queries.

Like others have mentioned, we tested our new Ultra-Tough edition screen protector material (which will probably replace our Tempered Glass range, as it's simply better) with iPad Pro 11" and iPad 12.9" 3rd Gen, and it works perfectly with Face ID, Apple Pencil 2 and general finger gestures. ONLY THEN did we go into production, because we don't go for the popular 'hit and hope' method of selling screen protectors. I'm not expecting any issues with ours, but in the unlikely event that there are any, we've got your back. Our Ultra-Tough material was developed here in the UK with an advanced materials company and we produce the screen protectors here too, so we're pretty nimble with our timescales.

For those who've never heard of MediaDevil before, we've been trading 9 years now and I think it is not a stretch to say we have a highly positive reputation for our products. We're just not that keen on talking ourselves up (we're British, see), so we keep a fairly low profile and let our wonderful customers speak on our behalf.

I'm a long-term reader, first-time poster, so I do hope I've abided by all of the posting rules.

Till next time.

How do people in the USA get your protectors? I buy all mine on Amazon, but do not have access to yours.

Yes, I am interested as well!
Thanks to you both for your interest!

We're going have US-fulfilment resolved by early 2019 latest, however, for the time being, I ask that you kindly either order directly from us through our website, or from Amazon.com as I've just set up the products there for you (they'll be shipped from the UK, however). They're not displaying in Amazon.com search results yet, but it won't take too long. For anyone else reading, they're live on Amazon.co.uk and we'll sort the other Amazon sites tomorrow.

When I buy products from US websites I usually get stung by delivery fees, but we don't do that on our website, it's $2.50 worldwide delivery, or free if you purchase two packs (as it'll take you over the approximately $38 spend required for free US delivery).

I ordered direct from their website and got my shipping notification this morning. It was super easy to place the order.

Thanks mate. I ordered a pack for my 12.9” yesterday. Can’t wait to try them out!! Hopefully it won’t take too long for them to get to Australia.

Can you offer some insight into why the new iPad Pros are so picky about screen protectors? I think it's fair to say most of us have never had an issue with any type of screen protector until now with regards to touch sensitivity.

If you have somehow made one that works I would be happy to purchase it - I am just very curious why it's so different this time around. Thanks!
