Note that none of these cebs use a case on their phone. this could mean several things, like; a case would make it ugly and they can afford to drop or a case would hide that its a iPhone and they want people/us to be aware that they do have a iPhone (commercial?)

Ya there are several in here that have cases, like the two i posted, but, I personally am NOT going to use any case just because i think they are annoying and make it bigger and thicker and ugly. I have had my iPod Touch for like a year and I have never dropped or dinged it or anything.
