Hi All,

I recently got a celluar ipad 12.9 (m1) and ive noticed the 5G is disconnecting/turning off if the iPad is not used for a short while. When I look in mobile data it shows foreign networks until I turn airplane mode off and on then it reconnects.

I have tried resetting the network settings but this made no difference.

I wondering if it could be a faulty sim card, Adguard Pro or a faulty iPad causing this?

Regards

I’m wondering if it’s the SIM card, maybe it’s not officially an iPad sim. Bought it on Amazon it’s got unlimited 5g for 3 years Lol

SIM card go in phones or iPads and will work irregardless. However, you mentioned buying your SIM from Amazon. What carrier do you use?

It’s an EE UK unlimited data sim. I guess I can live with it as it works after airplane mode off and on. Can’t see any settings to change. When I first go into mobile data it has foreign networks and says add data plan
