Cellular bars rise and fall for no reason...

I am sitting in one spot. Bars go from No Service to three bars. Usually one. Sometimes two.

It pisses me off.

Why is it doing this?

Solar radiation, birds, rain, cars, airplanes, anything the moves between the device and the tower, other radio transmitting devices.
