Anyone else having a problem with their cellular data not working on beta 2? All the dots are there and it says ATT 4G. A weird thing did happen at first when beta 2 loaded and it said 3G but I restarted and it went back to 4G. I've tried toggling the cellular data on and off as well as airplane mode and restarting it. Internet works fine when I'm on wifi though.

Same issue here on EE. If I try and use data it tells me that I am not subscribed or something similar (making calls works as normal). I can't see the network data settings since going to beta 2 either.

Maybe they will finally add separate switch to turn on/off 3G and turn on/off LTE (if your carrier enables this feature). I think it would help a lot of people

Same here! Had to do a clean restore and it worked, then today I've got 3G only!!! ARGH!!!

I have iOS 8 beta 2 on my iphone 5 with sprint. And it's doing the same thing. I tried reinstalling ios 8 a second and third time and the same thing happened within 4 hours. Has anybody found a fix or workaround for this issue yet?

I have an iPhone 5S on T-Mobile and every time I've reset the network settings my cellular works for a little time and then stops working. I've also done a full restore and so far nothing works.

I'm seeing this too, but my behavior is much stranger. If I reset network settings the cellular data works. If I connect to WIFI for an extended period of time and then shut it off, cellular data is dead and I need to reset network settings again.

This all coming from a clean install.

Holier than thou Apple fanboy disclaimer: Yes, this is impacting my ability to test out the application I'm developing for my company.

I originally did an OTA to B2 and didn't have this issue.

To fix an unrelated issue I did a restore and set up as new phone, and now I do have this issue. 48 hours ago (and 48 hours after I restored) LTE disappeared, but I was on 4G. This morning, the signal indicator read "3G" but that was a lie because I had no connectivity. After I reset network settings, I ended up rebooting to EDGE service only, which is where it's been stuck despite resetting network settings and rebooting the phone.

I'm on T-Mobile.

Seems like some low-level driver is really struggling. I expect it to be fixed by B3.

Im going through the same exact issue. I travel a lot for work and everytime I land in a new city.. I have to reset my phone. I also have to do this in the morning.

These betas feel like they are getting worse and worse.

I was able to fix the stuck on EDGE issue by resetting all phone settings, but I haven't seen a bit of LTE at all in 13 days now.

I had this same problem a couple of days ago. No matter what I did, it wouldn't let me use 3G, even if the 3G logo was here. Most of the time, it wasn't, however.
I tried resetting network settings. I tried leaving it overnight. Nothing worked. I eventually had to restore back to 7.1.1

My issue isn't data, for some reason the reception on my phone is in and out in a major way on b2. Missing lots of calls, just getting a notification on my voicemail that someone called.

Not good for business!

Fixed it

I had the same problem, installed iOS 8 beta 4, cellular data stopped working on my iPhone 4S with AT&T (it was working with beta3). I went to www.unlockit.co.nz with my iphone (using wifi) and then installed the APN profile for AT&T (HSPA+) and now it's working, I didn't even needed to reset the iphone. Your APN profile might be different than mine if you have a iphone 5 or 5S but I don't know, there are different AT&T and carriers profiles.
