I am sure the iPad Mini is the perfect tablet for many people, but the marketing for it is alienating an entire generation. Who under 25 will read the word “mini” as illustrated here?
Who under 25 spends $500-$800 on a highly specialized device? Of all the iPads this is the most "pro" in my opinion. Got mine 1h ago😎

That’s interesting to me. I have not owned or used a Mini, but have thought it might be more practical than I give it credit for. Why do you think the Mini is the most Pro of all iPads?

Because it is used by "Pros"? You see the mini mainly with doctors and nurses, when I fly I have it strapped to my thigh and the mechanics got them in there overall pockets. They are perfect POS terminals, nifty SatNavs that fit anywhere, they fit into the drone Remote for areal shots and the list goes on.
It is the size thats so great. Without compromise on power. Sure you get a $150 Tablet with 8" but without the power, without the battery, without the OS, without the apps and a screen you have to look at the right angle in a darkened room.
The 5 was (and is) good, but the bigger screen by smaller footprint, the pencil 2 support (I can use it from my iPad pro 12,9") the better battery life, the way better camera and as piece de resistance USB-C, it is worth the upgrade.
