Does anyone else have theirs delivered yet?

I got mine today.

First of all, the band is extremely loose when connected to the watch. It feels like it can slide out at any second. I tried it with my old sport bands, same thing. Put the new band in my old watch no problem at all. So in other words this new watch is manufactured poorly.

Second. The new cloud color band only comes in one length wtf! It's almost too long for me as a men. I checked the website thinking I must have ordered the wrong length but there is only one length! It also doesn't come with a variant band like it does when you buy a sport band out right.

Wtf? How is this a premium product?

Update - Found the other band, it's hidden in the manual

The Watch looks great I'm actually really impressed. I don't know why your having problems fitting the bands, but you might have a defective unit.

Yours is not loose at all? And you have no issue with the length? It only has one bottom piece, not two like the other bands you buy.

It's there in a paper box that contains manual.

In sure if it's loose it's an issue with that specific unit itself. Take it back to Apple. They'll get you another though you may have to wait.

I know what you meen. The band does sit a bit looser in the ceramic edition. Only noticble when off the wrist. And when you wiggle the band when connected to the watch. It's not as tight as the other models. I wouldn't go as far as saying it feels like it is going to fall out. It is very minor. But maybe yours is worse ...

Yeah I'm concerned that it's not loose but slightly unsightly and wonder if it's this watch I have or all ceramics. When wearing the watch if you look to the side button, but focus on the watch band channel is the gap here more noticeable than on (if you're a previous owner) it was on the S0 SS 38mm? Equally if you turn the watch away from you or face it towards you so the band is horizontally flat to your eyes, can you see a slight gap and the beginnings of the three black lines of the mechanism that holds it in? If anyone / everyone else can then it's everyone's watch that's 'designed' like this, but it is unsettling that there may be some 'play' or difference with this watch model. BTW I have a 38mm Ceramic S2. I will try and get some good shots of this and follow up.

here are some photos that show what I'm talking about but I think the 'play' in mine and perhaps OP's is worse. To be clear though mine doesn't feel like the bands are gonna slide out, in fact i just took it off and tried to pull them out - they won't be moving.

And if anyone thinks 'you're complaining'. Then yes. I am, just a little.

Can you all have a look at your Ceramics for me - esp interested in the 38mm.
[doublepost=1474191579][/doublepost]My shots for comparison for the loose channel especially the horizontal eye-level connector issue :(

[doublepost=1474191760][/doublepost]And I swapped bands with my old S0 38mm SS. Definitely noticeably looser?

On a separate subject - those last images really highlight the extra thickness in revision 2!

The ceramic colour looks great.

My guess is that engineers/designers avoid sharp edges when working with ceramic since it would be very prone to chipping (as opposed to a metal edge). Hence the subtle shape differences. Most notably the chamfer (gap) around the watch/band connector and the 'ledge' around the screen.

Ceramic's a hard but brittle material. These differences don't indicate shoddiness. Quite the contrary. They show that the designers understand their material thoroughly and have altered their design to accommodate the material's unique characteristics.

The ridge around the edge of the display is enough to turn me away from purchasing this "version" of the watch. It's plainly an experiment in R&D to test the uses of ceramic for next year.

That's my issue as well. I think it gives the ceramic version a much cheaper, less elegant look.

Tried to get some different angles of my ceramic to compare. I think it is possibly better than yours. But I believe my SS model was tighter. I sold that 4 months ago. So can't compare right now. IMG_0028.JPGIMG_0029.JPGIMG_0030.JPGIMG_0031.JPGIMG_0091.JPG

I put my new black SS link on one in the apple store and it was super tight, looked amazing to. I would take it back based on the picks where you can see the nubs on the sports band. That is def loose

EDIT: after looking at those pics with different bands, and again the black link, it tempts me even more to take back the SS with link and buying a ceramic and a black link. Just don't know how the wife will go over with the 4-500 dollar difference.

Yes!! This is exactly what I am talking about! It wiggles if you swing the band left to right. Unacceptable!! It seems to be all watches not just mine!!
