Apart from the Google and Apple video presentations, I have never seen anything remotely as patronising and infuriating as this presentation. Cringeworthy!
 
The device jerks around like some Chuck E Cheese's animatronic character and requires a remote which (from these examples at least) needs line of sight? The idea is fantastic, but the execution is terrible.

Or, as Steve Jobs might have said... That's a piece of ****.

Oh come on that is a little harsh. They went out of their way to find the best models shot in some of the most scenic places available in downtown Kabul.

Tracking using face detection

I like the idea, but not the execution. I want something that I don't have to carry, preferably an app with facial recognition.

Barring that, I'd rather not need the camera to catch what I'm using. That thing is huge. It has uses from what I can see, but for every day purpose, it looks a tad big (in this form)...

A couple of weeks ago I put together an iPhone app that uses face detection to track you. I used the iPhone to steer a Lego robot. Here is a video and the code:
