There's a folder in the ZeppelinLogos folder named HideCarrier that comes with the customcarrierlogo software.
Well then they really need to call it GSMCarrierChanger cause CarrierChanger is just misleading.
Wow... So you are saying the author of the app should change the name of his app to please a few bitter people that choose to do business with a CDMA only carrier? First of all... do you realize that most of the world is on some variant of GSM and CDMA is the minority. The authors of the app may not even be from the US... Which would be even less of an incentive for them to cater to the hurt feelings of CDMA carriers.
It's like saying that a grocery store shouldn't be able to advertise that they have candy bars for sale because even though many can get one, you can't because you are diabetic.
Basically... GET OVER IT!
If I click on a thread that says "Change Carrier Logo Without JB", what do you think that means?
Most of the time when you're looking to modify the carrier in the status bar, you are looking to do just that, MODIFY the carrier in the status bar.

Oh, so you mean that the ChangeCarrier program CAN'T actually change the carrier?
You actually have to have a certain carrier. That's just redundant.
Yes, but only if you had a certain carrier to begin with. That's redundancy.
If jailbreaking was still alive, we'd all have our own mods in our status bars.

If I were you, I would demand a refund for whatever you paid for CarrierEditor immediately if you are unsatisfied!Yes, but only if you had a certain carrier to begin with. That's redundancy.

Um, this is way out of line. I have researched CarrierEditor extensively and the main problem with this app is that it only works with certain companies. Why should that matter.
An iPhone is an iPhone is an iPhone.
I'm going to wrap this up now because I already had the thought that this probably wouldn't work, but I just think that using the actual carrier to change the carrier is redundant, like it defeats the purpose.
