My Cricket phone is an unlocked phone and also works with a SIM, can I change the carrier then, if I put an AT&T SIM card in it?

I mean come on

These carrier logos don't work with CDMA carriers. If you did what you suggest, the new carrier logo would only show when you have the AT&T SIM installed.

Any way you could do a steelers logo?
Thanks in advance.

Well... I would cut back on the shadow just a tad. In my post I know I recommended "3" on the Y-axis, but I have since gone to using "2."

But these numbers are only good if you are performing the Drop Shadow after your pic is sized down to the 40px height.

Also... did you make the word "cingular" yourself, because the font doesn't look like what cingular used.

Here are mine for comparison...

So basically it doesn't work with carriers that use SIM cards? Isn't there another way? I mean come on.

Uh.... the opposite. It ONLY works with carriers that use SIM cards. This doesn't have anything to do with Apple or the creators of the carrier logo app trying to stop you. This has EVERYTHING to do with a technical limitation of CDMA (carriers that don't use SIM cards) carriers.

Traditional GSM/HSPA/LTE (SIM using) networks use IPCC files to store carrier configuration on the phone.

The CDMA networks broadcast network name (alpha tag) from the tower and do not use IPCC files for network name.

Oh, okay, well hmm. The iPhone I have takes SIMs, so I have a GSM phone with CDMA service. I just thought it would make more sense if the carrier name changers were ubiquitous across any iPhone. Not just certain ones, but oh well.

Still no update for unofficial carriers? I tried to created an IPCC files from the unknow carriers, but when I restored it says sim is not supported!

You don't seem to get it it. It DOES work on any iPhone. Yes your iPhone accepts SIM cards and yes it will work on YOUR iPhone. But it won't work with YOUR CARRIER. Because your carrier is CDMA. But if you used your iPhone on a different carrier, it would work.

Well then they really need to call it GSMCarrierChanger cause CarrierChanger is just misleading.

I didn't make them. I had those logos on a file when I was jailbroken when the iP4 came out. Zeppelin wasn't around yet so I had to mod the carrier bundle to use a custom one. If i'm not mistaken they came from modmyi.
I believe those logos where non-retina originally and where modified for the retina display, maybe that's why they look different.

I'll try again with your recommendation. Thanks!!!
