I bought a white iPhone 7 plus on launch day @ Apple store using Apple upgrade program. I'm not really loving the white now. I know it is past 14 days return window but are there any possibilities of getting a matte black one?

Is the only way to just buy another black phone?

Do you mean white front?

I ask because silver is the closest Apple comes to a white iPhone now. Silver has a white front, but there are no solid white iPhone 7 pluses (yet).

Yeah, I mean silver, white front. I guess I am kind of locked in with the Apple upgrade program. Can't even sell it really.

And unfortunately, I don't believe there's a way that you be able to exchange the color being that your past your 14 days unless the iPhone is paid off.

They won't exchange it even if it's paid off. OP would need to buy a new phone.

Apple does not swap for cosmetic reasons, only issues that prevent the correct functioning of the device. And when they do swap it's like for like.

If OP wanted to trade it in for credit for the new phone after paying it off, that would be different though I think.

I think what I meant more specifically is if the iPhone is paid off, then he would have to sell it or trade it for the desired color. Those are the only two options. And Apple, in these last few years, have really tightened down on the 14 day return policy.

Since you can't exchange it, you can always just buy a black screen protector. It will give you the black front that you want.

You can pay off the outstanding balance, sell the phone, then use the money you get towards the purchase of the JB or matte black 7. Granted when you get the new iPhone next year, you will be starting a new loan since you paid the loan associated with your 7 off.

Kind of a PITA, but it's what you would have to do if want to switch colors.

Hold out a while. I grow bored of my colors every year and I switch back and forth everytime I upgrade. Nothing keeps this from happening lol

aaaaaaaand that's what you get for rushing into buying a colour you don't want just because supply is tight at launch. Something I saw way too many people doing in September.

Or you didn't do that and just made a misjudgment on colour choice.

At the iPhone hacks section.
Its only a color, you'll have to live with your choice and if you want to change your mind do it within the return period.
I bought silver one time and another time Gold cause that's what I could find.
In either way my devices were inside a case and even if they were not it wouldn't make much difference.

Sell it on eBay or swappa and buy another. You'd still be out the fees + postage of course.

And cellular companies. I was on the 14th day, on two year contract with Verizon, and Verizon wouldn't let me exchange for a new color. I guess the fine print states Verizon's return policy overrides apples and is 13 days. That's what they told me higher up on the phone.
