Change Logic Board 2010 Macbook Air to a newer one

Hello everyone,

I've read successful stories about changing logic boards on 2013 MBA to a board from 2017 model.

Do you think it's possible to change in my A1369 13" MBA to a newer board? To something with 8Gb.
Any advice would help.

Not possible due to differences in the main logic board layout, connectors, etc.

Unfortunately not; there were significant changes in the layout of the board between 2010 and 2011, so it'd be incompatible with the later years. Sorry mate 🙁

What you can do however is find a 2013 or later MBA that has water damage on it then swap out the logic board, track pad and battery and you should be okay... I did that for my now Early 2015 13inch MBA 2.2GHZ i7/8GB. Runs perfect.

Its possible but you have to change a lot of things. honestly you only can reuse A1369's display ( but the camera can not used because new HD camera has different connector) D case with keyboard (C case, but without light of keyboard) So, that is not useful option.

A1369 can be upgrade to 2011 /i7/4G mid with small adjusted. to avoid 2011-2012 model because that either uncompiable with A1369 or A1466 2013 model.
